More than a companion
Twining lets you take direct control of an Aniimo. Its movement and combat options change how you interact with the world. Read the mobility entries on each creature before choosing an exploration squad.
Prepare for the encounter
A squad for traversal may not cover every combat role. Save separate exploration and combat teams, then compare their elements and missing roles in the planner.
Check movement before you leave
Find the exact form in the Aniilog and open its Overview. Read the listed mobility options alongside the habitat. A movement entry describes a recorded capability; it does not confirm that a particular obstacle is reachable at your current progression. If no movement information is listed, treat it as missing reference data rather than proof that the companion cannot travel.
Read the cost of each action
Use the Skills tab to compare power, Break, cooldown and the recorded resource cost. EP and SP are separate fields. A blank value is not a zero-cost promise. Compare abilities in the same context instead of adding unlike numbers, and check the current in-game description when a skill behaves differently from the dated reference.
Keep two plans
Build one squad for the next exploration task and another for the fight you are preparing for. Name saved teams after their purpose so you can tell them apart later. Share the builder link when asking for advice: it preserves the selected forms and locks, which gives other players more context than a character name alone.
